Peer Review Process

All research articles published in MindCare Journal of Education, Counseling, and Psychology undergo full peer review, the main characteristics of which are listed below:

  1. Submitted papers are evaluated by at least two anonymous referees for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation (Double-blind peer review).
  2. The journal's Editor-in-Chief makes all publication decisions based on the reviews provided. The Editor will notify authors of the review results as soon as possible, expected within 30 to 60 days.
  3. Members of the international Editorial Board provide insight, advice, and guidance to the Editor-in-Chief in general and assist in making decisions regarding specific submissions.
  4. The Managing Editor and Assistant Editors provide administrative support that enables MindCare Journal of Guidance Counseling and Psychology to maintain the integrity of peer review while providing rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency for authors, reviewers, and editors.
  5. MindCare Journal of Guidance Counseling and Psychology also benefits through the refereeing process of manuscripts from high-quality peer review conducted by established journals.
  6. Detection of plagiarism of articles in this journal is done using Turnitin.

Result Review

Using feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will make the final decision regarding publication. Decision categories include:

  • Reject: Rejected manuscripts will not be published, and authors will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript to this journal.
  • Accept with Major Revisions: The manuscript will be reviewed again after some major modifications are made.
  • Accept with Minor Revisions: Manuscripts that receive a pending-revision decision will be published in this journal with the condition that minor modifications are made. Revisions will be reviewed by the editor to ensure that necessary updates are made before publication.
  • Accept: Accepted manuscripts will be published in their current form without requiring further modifications.
