Mental health emergencies have intensified globally, particularly among adolescents, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study explores the transformation of guidance and counseling services through community-based solutions at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Blokagung, Banyuwangi. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through triangulation methods: observation, semi-structured interviews with 15 informants (santri, ustadz/ustazah, and kiai), and documentation analysis. Results indicate that community-based counseling involving collaboration between kyai, ustadz, and santri significantly enhances mental health support effectiveness. Findings show 75% santri participation in individual counseling and 80% in group discussions. However, challenges persist: stigma (primary barrier), limited resources, and restricted information access. This research provides practical recommendations for pesantren to adopt collaborative strategies integrating Islamic values with contemporary counseling techniques. Community-based approaches increase service access, strengthen social support networks, reduce stigma, and encourage santri openness in seeking help during mental health emergencies.
